Good voice here for Rikku. And good outside perspective on Auron. Loved the mix of acceptance and sarcasm.

Oh my! That was very powerful, very gripping. I've never played FFX myself (only FFX-2, and I didn't get to finish the game T_T), but the sheer personality and character shown in the dialogue was amazing! I especially love how you blended Rikku's sarcasm with a more jaded, spiritual part of her that she doesn't readily show others.

Her relationship with her father, Cid, would've been very difficult to write, I imagine, since it's a confusing mix of apathy, scorn, and not-quite-hatred (maybe? XD). You've managed to handle it wonderfully. =D

The last few lines, "I never believed in Yevon. But I had faith in other things. Family, friends, tradition (oddly enough), magic, Aeons and the Fayth.

And I was praying to all of them to end the pain when I finally let go and drifted off into unawareness." were killer. You've balanced Rikku's final moments very well; not to sappy, not too angsty, and still very in-character with Rikku.

Nice little story you've got here. I like how it's not really angsty or anything like that. It actually sounds like something that would happen in the game. You've definitly captured each characters' personalities extremely well. Over all, it feels very complete for a one-shot though I think you might want to consider doing a sort of follow-up like someone mentioned before but the story is fine how it is now.

Awesome! You got there personalities down to a t. There were at least five spelling errors I saw, but it was nothing too big besides the fact that you spelled 'Tidus' as 'Titus'. :) I'm not flaming or anything, I'm just trying to help.

I loved Rikku's sarcasm, and Auron was perfect. I also loved all of the little background things you put in here. I'd love to see you do an after-the-fact sort of fic to follow this up if you could. I think it would be interesting. :) Anyway, that was really good, and I think I may just have to put that on my favorites list. ;)
