I just wanted to say, this was a great read, very well written.
And totally in the stand along complex style, which i liked very much.
In fact i'd go as fas as to say that if modified this could have been the script for an GitS SAC eps.
I hope you'll write many more such great reads.

Haha, oh man, those Tachikoma can be so cute! XD Especially when they try to solve a problem...

"Maybe we need more data. I think I'll go research rice cakes."

I think that just made my day.

The final mystery.

As someone who was raised to think of horses as a kind of people, I like how the computer managed the Tachikoma.

Very well done, better than my work by far.

This was a really delightfully complex and complete adventure. Everyone very much in character, wonderful Batou angst at the end, and you even got in a few "Tachikomatic Days" there. The tachi/horse analogy was very clever!

Nice ending, though the transition is a bit abrupt from the ending of the last chapter.

LOL. Tachikoma as horses. Perfect analogy, though I imagine it would make for a funny sight to see them talking. Wonder if they're blue? ;P

And I truly, deeply love the idea of Aoi making off with the Imersion system. Kudos for him...existing. (But ye gods - what if he uses it? A super-class-A hacker with even *more* time to learn in? o_O;)

Anyways. Keep writing if you get the chance, I enjoy your stories. :)

Wonderful story! Congrats on the baby, too! (Just be prepared for your other child to ask when you're taking the smaller sibling back...)

Awe, that's a bummer that it's over. It was such a good story, I'm sorry I didn't review earlier that this. Well, given teh circumstances, I'll still hope for a sequal ^^ On another note, sorry to spam, but, this is driving me nuts. I was wondering if you knew any more about this Solid State Society thing than me and the rest I'm sure. The things I've been seeing have me worred DX. Anyway, good luck with everything ;)

It would be cool if Ishikawa gained some insight into Togusa's family in comparison to his job. Just a thought...great fic!

YAY! Another professional computer geek working on GitS fanfics.

Heavy duty stuff. Very good. But it feels unfinished- is it?

My only grumble is the use of the "nightsuit". There is no credible evidence to suggest they were ever used by ninja, except in theatre.

Having only seen Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence I can't say I'm too familiar with the world of GitS, so I can't really comment on that. So far I've enjoyed this fanfic though. It's started quietly and now this chapter is looks like things are becoming a little more sinister. I really enjoyed Motoko's covert infiltration of the SDF base, particularily the cyberbrain aspects.

I'm looking forward to reading on.
