THRAWN IS AWESOME!

If only it were true...

Thanks for the opportunity to not only read your little excerpt but to tell you how much I enjoyed it as well!

*sigh* this is how it should have happened. Thrawn is the coolest guy ever and it was upsetting when he died. I much rather like Ruhk dying then Thrawn! well done, indeed.
The Masked Avenger1 9/20/03 . chapter 1
What? That's it? What happens to Rukh? Don't leave us in suspense like this! Great style by the way... very Zahn.
Martyn Jones 7/6/03 . chapter 1
Ah at last, someone has explored if breifly, the survival of the greatest tactician and last best hope of the Empire. I was thrilled to read this short peice on Thrawn's survival. Please please please write a full novel or a whole series of them. The possibilities of a victorious Thrawn are endless and captivating. Imagine Thrawn crushing the rebel alliance and restoring order to the galaxy. Surely somone could write such a work?
Andrew Cashmore 6/14/03 . chapter 1
This story shows a fine perspevtive on the would-be life of Grand Admiral Thrawn. I am somewhat surprised Thrawn did not end up killin the Noghri. It would have made more sense.
Ouru 3/5/03 . chapter 1
Finnaly! I couldn't believe it in the book when Thrawn didn't even see it coming. Almost makes he wish he'd won!

Well written! A person who has risen as high as Grand Admiral Thrawn would have surely seen Rukh turning traitor and been prepared for it. Rukh must have been getting information from his homeworld and Thrawn would undoubtedly been monitoring any and all communications. Please write more. The galaxy needs Grand Admiral Thrawn even if the rebels don'y realize it.

This is the way it should have been. Grand Admiral Thrawn is the on par if not beyond Sherlock Holmes deductive reasoning. I feel Zahn took a literary shortcut in having Thrawn assassinated. A person of his abilities would have been more likely to offer to join the Alliance and use his abilities to become a senator in the new republic and eventually chancellor. It would be only a small task to become the Emperor of a new and greater Empire.

Very artfully done, if I may say so. :) Please continue your story. You have a better writing style than most people out there.
MD 3/8/02 . chapter 1
Not bad. Definitely what I would have liked to have seen at the end of _TLC_. However, *why* did Thrawn come up with that wonderful idea? A bit more expansion, and a bit more work on the grammar, and you'll have a decent story.
LP 6/3/01 . chapter 1
It seems quite nice and shows promise as to the beginning or the ending of a much larger story. However, the grammar could use some work, as could the character development. Keep on trying!
