I know, rather late but I've hardly been near a computer these past few days.

very interesting story - please continue. If you need a "cover story" for Melody's disappearance the kidnapping one would work. Unfortunately children get kidnapped and can be with their kidnappers for years. All it would take would be for the kidnapper to tell her a lie about her parents. hope this helps.
