I'm not really a big sky/syd fan, mostly cause it's all mushy and in your face. But I really like this story, it's very sweet and mellow and you can decide for youself if there is a pairing or just a friendship. I liked the characterzation. It seemed to fit the characters on the show.

It's nice to see a look into how they interacted before the show, and you can just barely see the beginnings of something I don't think came out much until the second half of SPD - Sky trusts Syd and vice versa, and how easy they are around each other.

You had Sky's personality down to the T, or I guess I should say the very last cold glare. LOVED the ending! You write this pair very well.

Oh my gosh! This was SO heartwarming - I practically melted! (In case you couldn't tell, I'm big on the fluff!)

Like Syd, I was also sad when I read the part where Sky was alone and training for Christmas - sad part is, I can even imagine that happening too! I'm so glad he decided to watch the fireworks with Syd! *grins*

My favorite part would have to be the last line though, where he calls her "Syd" instead of Sydney.. it tells you how much Syd has actually grown on Sky! *lol*
