you have effectively captured the tilt and whirl of Grissom's emotions. I especially love the description of the team pancake breakfast and Grissom's snag of Sara's pancakes.

It's not so much a story as a set of images, snagged from Gil's stream of consciousness.

I love it, I really do. You capture each moment perfectly and, wow, I'm lost for words. Top stuff! I would constructively criticize, but I really can't find a flaw.
