But the story is great. I actually found myself interesting in Cassander. Especially when he was yelling at Bagoas. It was wonderful.

A most interesting fic, different, angsty yet full of hope. Cassander's bitterness towards Alexander and Olympias was quite tangible and I could see why he took the action he did, after the King's death...and Roxanne paid dearly for her betrayal.

I found that Heph's talk to Bagoas was quite soothing to me despite its content, and I found supernatural Heph to be so calm, understanding and forgiving as he reflected on his and Alexander's life.

At last, the lovers are together, forever, and I guess that in the end that is all that matters.
