This is a facinating story. I've always wondered what the lives of the Fayth were like when they were human. This left me wanting more, actually.

Minor point: I've heard that Yojimbo's dog is named Kogoro, and the attack is Daigoro.

A very original take on the Aeons! I love it. You are the only author who has explored the Aeons' side of FFX. I think these chapters could have been written into the game itself. They have the potential to be part of the Official FFX story line. (But sadly, that's just my opinion.)

I like this entire collection as a whole! I haven't read the 'prequel' to this yet, although I don't think it is necessary. Everything you've included into the world of FFX is clearly explained here.

I really like the ending to this one and how it shows the early corruption of the Yevonites' holy orders. Excellent tie in with the pay-to-play system Yojimbo uses!

One thing though, the name Valefor doesn't actually have to do with the wind. All of the aeons had their names taken from mythology/dieties of religions.

Valefor (also Malaphir), is the name of one of the Dukes of Hell.

A very interesting idea, making a background story of each Fayth. Fascinating stories, and also quite touching (I read them while listening to the FF-X soundtrack, so it was quite fitting).

I liked the way you described the first years after Sin. It felt very real.
