This is the best fanfiction *ever.* And not just because Wash lives; it's so well-written and something I could incorporate to the happenings of the 'verse so easily in my mind. On the subject of Wash living, though - it's just done in such a way that isn't convenient or too easy or slipshod and cheating, the way I imagine some future Wash resurrection fics will be.

Brilliant, simply put. Great work all around.

This was wonderfully written. Clear, precise, grammatically correct, well thought out...it spoke volumes for River and her character, and I just loved how believable it was. I could totally see her doing just that, and I really enjoyed the fact taht the time traveling was the easy part--that there weren't any divergent paths or alternate realities or whatever. Great story. :)

This is so beautiful. Sweet because River would use her gifts to do something like that. She was my favorite character in the series and I am glad you wrote this. It makes losing Wash not so bitter.

This? Is awesome. Seriously, I *wish* Whedon would do something like this to bring Wash back. I hate to think of the the Firefly 'verse without Wash. He was without a doubt my favorite character, and his death was so very harsh (and I understand why Whedon did, but that doesn't make it easier).

wow. really, really good. you write river very convincingly- underlyingly rational, but unable to communicate that rationality. and the story is very joss-ian, in the 'bringing people back from the dead but very justifiably' way.
