Normally I seek out your stories for slash, so I'm pleased and surprised at how well you write other types of fic as well. This one was brilliant! Your characterization of young Lucius was logical and plausible. It is easy to believe that the Lucius you described here will grow up to become the Lucius we know and love from canon. I liked the portrayal of Voldemort as well. HBP gave a lot of tempting glimpses into early Voldemort, and it was nice to see more. This fic managed to include the right amount of drama, darkness and adventure, even touches of humour (Lucius' views on Narcissa versus Bellatrix were wonderful) and has made my favourites list.

WO this is so buff...hey is it one shot...or can we move onto Lucius flirting with Cissy or Bella?
