Congratulations Teej, I think you have done a really wonderful job with this story. I've loved it all the way through - your observations of Horatio's little expressions and movements, the characterisations of the rest of the team and their working relationships, the complexity of the plot and juggling of subplots and above all I love the way you have succesfully, slowly and thoroughly introduced a new character, shown her to us and defined her as a rounded, three dimensional being with her own unique character and also, let us grow to like, admire and respect her as an excellent love-interest for Horatio; one who will be loyal and steadfast despite threat and danger. No mean feat. A wonderful tale, well told and well worth re-reading and recommending. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Claudette 2006-04-07 ch 33,	abuseOne thing that always strikes me when I watch the series is how incredibly kind and protective Horatio is of almost anyone (Well, the good guys at least) and you have really captured this here. Fancy thinking of the kind gift of the night dresses not because he was falling in love with her & he thought she was beautiful and she needed something to wear (all perfectly good reasons) but because he remembered his own painfulrecovery and was trying to do something to ease her pain and discomfort. What a really, really kind man.

I hope you are not 'foreshadowing' - I have really grown to like this lady and I think Horatio likes her too. I'm glad she didn't have any accidents while she was by herself in the apartment.

This has been most assuredly one of the best stories I have read in a long time on here. Your clamouring fans are begging for more!

"We've time enough to spare now, " he said softly... he would make me feel safe too .. to be held like that .. too bad they were to tired and too sore huh?? oh this mind of mine is falling back to the gutter hehe ... but with H its hard not too !
