But then, I started reading and gave it a chance (because I am a diehard K/L shipper) and I am so glad I did! This was just wonderful all the way around. Sad and angsty and funny and touching. Beautiful. I really love your stories, so thanks for sharing!
Kitty Invictus 2007-09-06 ch 25,	abuseI probably did enjoy reading it as much as you did writing it. This story, although long, was very good. At first, I wasn't sure if I was gonna read very far in. It seemed kind of far fetched. But then, in the same way that people came to love Laura. I saw it for what it really was. A very touching and well written piece of fan fiction. Great job. I've just started to write a BSG fic. I can only hope that it can have such a great feeling to it. I really liked all of the mythology that was scattered in the prophecy. I know a little bit, so I recognized the things being mentioned. You must have had some sort of plan. because you revealed things at a perfect pace. Until the last couple chapters, you only gave us enough to keep interested. And the last couple chapters were so good that I couldn't stop reading. Wonderful Just Wonderful. kitty.

You made an OC character that I really started to care about (and felt sorry at her passing), and your interpretations of the show characters were dead-on (though I felt that Zarek was just a bit to psychotic). This is one of those stories that, although it was finished up really nicely, I wouldn't mind reading a sequel. Great story. -Naitch03

Here I am, a grown man of 36 and I was in tears by the end of chapter 24, and could barely see the computer screen to read chapter 25. Your story was simply beautiful, you've a good grasp of the characters and their individual voices. However, my only minor criticism - and it's something that a lot of BSG/ Star Trek/ Star Wars etc. fic writers seem to forget - is that space vessels (such as the Galactica or the USS Enterprise etc.) do NOT have floors, ceilings, walls, or doors. What they do have is decks (floors), deckheads (ceilings), bulkheads (walls), and hatches (doors). Keep up the good work, and I look forward to reading more of your stories in the future. Just - try not to make me cry any more, it'll rui8n my tough-guy image.. ;)

My body kept telling me I was exhausted and I kept telling myself that I was going to stop at the end of the next chapter but I couldn't seem to do it. The story was great and thanks for writing it. It's a shame that Apollo and Starbuck's relationship can't be this uncomplicated in the series but I guess it wouldn’t be as much fun then. Oh well

I loved how Lee, Kara and Laura turned into this wonderful family in such a short time ... and how everyone on Galactica joined them :) I loved Laura ... she's such a brilliant character you created. I almost cried when she died. I already suspected it would come to that, but I was still hoping that they would find some way to safe her. But it's so sweet and wonderful that she will always be with her family in their dreams. She will always be a part of them. sigh There is so much about this story that I love ... Each single chapter was just brilliant, wonderful, amazing ... I wish I had more words to describe how much I like this story. Thank you so much for writing this. You're a wonderful author and this is a wonderful story. :)

You did such an amazing job with this in every way possible, and it's going to remain in my favorite fic list forever. I could go on and on about why I love this, but you already know. I'll just say that this fic has it all, and it was written so, so well. Thank you for writing this and I hope you enjoyed writing it at least half as much as I enjoyed reading it. :)
Nytel 2006-10-12 ch 24,	abuseYou turned me into the biggest blubbering baby ever! I'm not joking, there are tears just streaming down my face. I've never had this much of an emotional response to a fic before. You did an AMAZING job. I'm still shocked over what happened with Laura. I suppose that I should have seen it coming, but I guess I just didn't want to. Gods, I have no idea how you write so well. You're a fic writing genius my dear, a complete and utter genius. It's been a while since the last chapter, but as soon as I started reading I knew exactly where I had left off, and I think that's definitely a sign of some good storytelling on your part. And the way that you integrated everything from previous chapters in... marvelous. It gives me tingles when I read stuff like that because it's just such good writing. I try to do it in my own stories, but it's nothing close to this. The scenes in the house were so well written. You included so much in that and it was just awesome to read. I actually got so sucked in that I was 2 or 3 paragraphs past the part with Dee's daughter until I realized that Cassie's my name. Lol. Yeah, I did a bit of a double take with that. g But after I read it I was grinning like an idiot. Thank you! (Even though I didn't really help you out that much.) The twist of Dee coming back to life... very nice. I have to say that I wasn't expecting that at all, but including it, and the reasons for it, it was all just great. As for the cylons... Tory? Hm, now you've got me thinking. Lol. (Again, I loved how you tied in the teddy bear part) I also like how you kept us guessing as to who model 4 was until the very end. (Although I had the sneaking suspicion that it was Gaeta.) Oh yes, and the baby. Talk about bittersweet! Oh my god, I was so conflicted! I was sitting here (crying) and being sad about Laura, but I wanted to be happy for the baby too. I can't even imagine how Kara and Lee must feel. (Also, Zak is the perfect name.) Then the part about Adama and Lee both knowing what it was like to lose a child... yeah, that made me cry harder. This fic is just so amazing, and I don't think I'll ever stop being in awe over it. You write it so well, and convey all the emotions fantastically. I can actually feel everything that the characters are feeling. This story is frakking brilliant. And one of the things I love about it is that it shows what it means to be a family. And I mean the true meaning of being a family, not just being related by birth or marriage. It's something that was present throughout the entire story and I love how you did that. There are so many things that I want to mention about this chapter, but I'm sure I forgot some of them. Just know that this is one of my (if not my) all time favorite fic. It is extremely well-written, so well thought out and the plot is so in depth. It's better than a ton of published books that I've read. I applaud you. (P.S. I will try and read the other chapter today, but I'm not sure if/when I'll have time.)

Anyway -- While I mourn the loss of Laura, I realize why you had to do it. She would probably be older than her parents at the age of four... Yeah. anyway. I'm glad that you/Laura led them to Earth. Hopefully, in my eyes, that's where the series will end up. Either them finding Earth, or with them settling on it. There's just no measure of love I have for this story, lol. Incredible/Fantastic/Wonderful/Inspirint/Great/Enjoyable (you get the idea) job.
