I was really sorry to see the last chapter in this story end, but I know there is one story left in this cycle so I will *cough* carry on bravely! As always, the dynamics of the interplay -spoken and unspoken - between all the four of the characters on all levels rings so true.

P.S. For everyone who didn't know ... 'Itai' = 'ouch', but 'ite' or 'itte' = 'ow'. You often hear it when characters say 'ittetete' to mean 'owowowow' instead of simply 'ouch'.

Thus, someone like Gojyo who speaks very informally would say 'itte' whereas someone like Hakkai (who speaks formally) might say 'itai'.

Sorry, I'm a Japanese Major. I enjoy knowing this kind of stuff. ^^;

I've never really been a 5x3 fan, but I *am* The Fangirl of Fluff in all its Forms. My friend passed this story on to me and I grudgingly read it.

Then re-read it. And read it again. I couldn't believe how in-character you made them both and how much *sense* it could actually make for the notorious Bad Friends to actually get together. I mean, come on, who else would curse their lover while in the middle of love-making? Only these guys, and you delivered that.

And keeping up with how 'nothing really changed' afterwards ... the 'punishment' simply took additional forms. :P

And for some reason 5x3x5 actually makes a ton more sense to me than either 3x5 or 5x3, because everyone can tell they're both Type A semes, and yet love-sponge needy ukes.

Absolutely Adorable.

Found your work thru Love and Death @ LJ, and I love love love it. It's such a different take on 3X5X3 (or 5X3X5 depending on how you look at it ^^) that I was instantly hooked. I'm quietly trying to work my way thru some of the others now as well!

OH, and I completely melted when Sanzo punctuated the "I...Love... You..." in chapter 4. It was so sweet and yet not at the same time. Beautiful!

I just love this fic! I’m so glad they’re finally together. And I like how they got together- the part about parallel lines and moby dicks and how they said they love each other. It’s all so sweet!! Also I find it so cute how Sanzo doesn’t want Gojyo to call him sweet names. I also love how you describe their feelings for each other. And of course the part where Goku and Hakkai saw them in bed together and the fight that ensued between Sanzo and Gojyo. It was so funny and I found it sweet too. And the talk of Hakkai and Goku was also amusing. Every chapter of this fic was just so amazing. I don’t know how else to describe it. I just really loved it!

I thought "ouch" was itai...? Anyways, that chapter rocked! Who! I kinda figured after he said I'm no angel that tenshi ja nai means exactly that. That was really funny. I was snickering throughout this whole story. You're done with it, right? Come on, don't tell me you're going to add even more! It seems finished to me. Whatever. If u continue, I'll be glad to read. if u don't, then this is a perfect ending...

Again, I've told you this before but let me tell you again in case you've already forgotten. You're one of the main reasons I connect to the net. And I don't usually review but your stories are just superb! I never review, this is just the second time and the first just also for you. Thanks for making my day!

You've just gone and thrown the group dynamics of the Sanzo-ikkou into chaos, much to your devoted readers' delight! Hakkai seems to be handling it the best...

I think I've mentioned this before, but I admire the way you're able to handle the different tones and moods in each of your series so well. From absolutely heartwrenching ( I don't think any fanfic ever made me cry the way Longing 3 did ), to lighthearted to somewhere in between... and all are always written with such care and style.

I'm sorry for the nitpicking in my previous review. Sometimes I take my fanfiction way too seriously. I do believe, though, that if an author is seriously going to attempt to write 353, then they have to take extra care to make sure that the special bond between Sanzo and Goku is addressed in some way. Of course, this is coming from a hopeless 393 supporter, but still... And, of course, Hakkai can't be forgotten, either!

Now that you mention it, I do see what you mean when you say that Hakkai is the character you have the least grasp of. I think he perhaps he comes off in your stories as being too light, too sure of himself. Too *sane*.

Anyway, I'm rambling. Just want you to know I still enjoy and appreciate your work! Please don't quit writing anytime soon, I'd miss you!

Okay, I just have to tell you that this chapter was absolutely beautiful. I can't even tell you how much I *felt* reading this. I'm sorry I'm not more eloquent, but you've done a wonderful job at creating images, not just of lust and passion, but of incredible love. I've been trying to write a 353, but I just can't write something up to this standard.

Okay, anything negative that I said in the first review . . .I totally changed my mind. This is great. I just had to review this chapter to let you know. Also, I like the "are you *gay*?" scene! ^-^ I'm laughing just thinking about the terror of facing Sanzo with such a question! And may I say that Sanzo's description of the kiss he shared with Gojyo was (there's no more sophisticated word for it . . .sorry) *hot*. Okay, now on to chapter 3!
