This chapter was delightful! More than worth the wait. I love the cute, casual little interactions between Lucy and Tumnus... you are doing such an EXCELLENT job with your characters. This bit:

is delightful and darling and made me laugh. As much as I can't wait for the next chapter, I'm going to be sorry when this story ends.

Gr. So sorry! My account is new, and apparently won't let me send messages (or upload stories, which is very frustrating today!) for a three-day waiting period. And I simply couldn't wait that long for the possibility of more of this story!

My thoughts are these: So far both the action of the story and the dialog are developing the characters just beautifully. I don't think straying from the action a little for conversation would hurt, and in fact I expect it would be absolutely adorable! (And go further toward developing the characters friendship/romance, whichever way you decide to go with it.) Also, I just like this story so much that I want there to be as much of it as possible! *hee* So in short I vote yes, stick in as many conversation scenes as you like. I don't think they will hurt the pacing any at all.

I need the next chapter! This is all the pleasure my sad life affords! Maybe a night under the stars when she snuggles close to her furry friend to keep warm. Maybe his instincts proove true and right before a "certian death" situation she grabs him by the face and kisses him, thinking it's her last opportunity. See what happens to me when I am left waiting for the next chapters of peices of ART and the only new things that are up and Tumnus/Mary-Sue. Save me, your majesty. For the love of The Lion, save me.
