Even though Atton never glossed over the facts of his past its easy to look beyond them and not realize the gravity of what he did - torture someone. Your story definitely adds serious dimension to his character. Wow, I really want to try my own version of this. What I loved the most was that I found Deesse really irritating, and despite the fact that I didn't like her she still did a great and noble thing - you gave her depth, too. Kudos.
