your description of erik's past is more or less accurate, most phic writers agree that it wouldn't be a surprise if his mother sold him to a circus/travelling fair, even though it's never actually said. but i should mention, raoul's parents are dead, he's taken care of by his 10-years-older brother, phillipe. he doesn't approve of christine, so it would be fitting if you put his name down instead of his mother's.

And you can growl at me. The casting for this movie was the worst I had ever seen.

1. Gerry is HOT. Erik is not HOT.

2. Gerry is about five years older than Emmy Rossum. The Phantom is about forty years older than Christine.

3. Patrick is gay. Raoul is a fop, but he is not gay! What the HELL.

4. Miranda Richardson only fucking person in the entire fucking movie with a fucking FRENCH ACCENT. Fuck.

5. My parrot can sing better than Gerard Butler.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE that movie, but the casting made me very very sad. I'm a bit obsessed with Phantom, you see. I've seen in on Broadway 28 times. I read the original book in two different languages, plus the sequal and the prequal. I came in third place out of over 200 people in a contest for recited POTO backwards. I personally know literally every cast member in the Las Vegas production. I have a crew jacket from it as well.

man, i'm totally lost... how did i even get here? Last I remember, I was in the Buffy section. And now I'm reading phanfics. I wasn't even on this site...

... I haven't even seen the movie properly(I couldn't really see it or hear it in Chourus class, and I don't know if we ever finished it...)!

Oh, and don't worry about insulting my knowledge of music: I don't have any. except that i know what that thing if when you get louder is, but i can't spell it, and the same with the thing where you get softer, and i cou,ld maybe point it out on a sheet of music. I guess at sight reading, and mostly i'm wrong...

I just found this on your profile. Again, I loved it. I like how your portray Erik and Christine. They talk to each other, disagree, sometimes say the wrong thing, but they talk and things eventually work themselves out. I like the way you allow them to have a process to working out their relationship.

I hope you will write more Phanfics.
