In reading this story, you can really tell the author is youthful as there are a number of mistakes that one hopes a more experienced author wouldn't make. This includes confusing words like except and accept, basic research mistakes in terms of the American educational system, issues with punctuating dialog, etc. Added to that, the chapters are short and choppy, to the point where their length is a distraction to the story. One hopes with time that the author will improve but until then, I suggest passing on this work.
