Fantastic! I really like this fic, not only because I'm a HUGE Tikku fan, but also because I think you've really stayed faithful to the characters personalities. I've read so many fics where the characters turn into something completely different and cliche. I also like the fact that your story is realistic (well, as realistic as Final Fantasy can get), it actually sounds like something that could have really happened in the story (and I wish it did happen).
