I really liked this story. I love the ones that show a series of moments from throughout their lives, and I loved how you did this one, showing not just literal pushing, but figurative pushing as well. Very well done.

I loved this line: "His dad always told him that he was the luckiest in combat that he’d ever seen. But Sam knew that it was because Dean was his armor." Very true!

i love this fic! i want Dean as a big brother he's so cool! of course Dean has always protected Sam! it is so blantantly obivious how much he cares about Sam. it really showed in Scarecrow when Dean was in the car and Sam was at the bus station and they were talking on the phone. Dean looked like he was going to cry, poor Dean.
I LOVE DEAN! anyway great fic! oh and your fics on LJ great stuff!

Great one Brandy. The history between these brothers is what's hooked me to the show and I believe your take. Dean was always there for Sammy. Dean was fourteen and Sammy had never known a time when Dean hadn’t been taking care of him. This really defines their relationship, but you know I think Sammy is starting to take care of Dean too.
