Hmm. Very good. Angsty, yes, but hell, it's supposed to be. The italicized words as the actions and POV of Robin was a very good touch. Realistic and dark of the mind of Robin. Was the female in question Starfire? I was just a little fuzzy on that, but otherwise it was clear. You've turned what is our favourite almost "kid" show at 4 to what we all like to (or try to do) do on the bondaries to make an excellently written story.
