I found your fic when I suddenly started wondering, 'Huh. I wonder if anyone though of this too.' Glad to know I'm not alone in my goofy ideas. Kudos ^^ Anyway, your fic: awesome. This well written and believeably executed. It made me warm and fuzzy inside. =) You have great potential to expand this idea if you ever wanted to, and I fully encourage it. We need something new to shake this fandom before the 10th movie gets out. Whatever you decide to do, do good and keep writing.

But I suppose it's only natural, considering they're all exactly the same as all the other DC couples... Heiji, Shinichi, and Kaito. The Aoyama cookie-cutter boys. Collect 'em all! Mix n' match! Heheheh.. Kaito/Kazuha? How about Shinichi/Aoko? Sorry, just rambling now. xD Whee. Really, though. Through all that my quintessentially nerdy, fanfic'd brain thinks "So what's Conan doing?" Moping, probably. Heiji'll have a job on his hands explaining himself when he brings Ran home with her rose (and the tearstained face, of course. Booh how sad.) :P Poor ol' Shinichi.

SoulSeeker 2006-01-17 ch 1,	abuseArgh it took me forever for the stupid little popup thing to finally come up for me to review! >_< Anyway, what I've been trying to say for the past like, hour (yes I was THAT determined to review this fic lol), is that I think you took the Heiji/Ran approach really nicely! Being a big Shin/Ran fan myself, I was a little scared at first lol, but I enjoyed it! I see it as more of a friendship, though I'm not sure how you intended it to be ;)
manda 2006-01-17 ch 1, anon.	abuseSorry to disappoint, but I actually liked the twist despite the shinran fan that I am. :^) Good job man, this was impressive--especially since the relationship between Ran and Heiji are subtle enough to be left up to the reader. There were a couple of parts that seemed definitely staged, but other than that this was a cute little thought experiment.
