Those people were so dense, prejudice, and malicious. That was terrible that they condemn those children like that. I feel more sympathy for the Frontier protagonists then I do anyone else in the story. I myself do not believe everything the history book said because it tends to miseducate people on some topics though I cannot expect most people to not believe everything what the history book said since it is consider to be a record of events that happen in the past. I am guess that society will still shun them when they figure out who they are. I would not be surpise that people made books, movies, etc. that portray them in a derogatory way. I know I probably am taking this to serious but I this story reminds me of so much of people who have been persecuted throughout history in real life. It seems like Rei is starting to see that they are not evil like society portray them to be and that is a good thing.
