This is not a flamer ()or whatever you call it), it is a critique. So when you read it please imagine my voice as calm.

You're much too kind to your characters. Voldemort probably would know about Potter manor and have them guarding Godric's hollow. Running from an all-powerful madman should not be comfortable for the characters or the reader (I mean setting a schedule for a battle? Let's set nap time for them while we're at it). I'm sorry, but it feels unrealistic and like you're hurrying the happy ending. And Harry Potter performing the killing curse on another human being (and yes, sharks too) is too out of character for me to wrap my head around. I know we want to be kind to the characters that we love but, who you should really try to please is the reader, and I, myself, enjoy a little more conflict than what this story provides.

I'm sure you'll evolve and get much better if you work at it. And if your goal is not to get better and just have fun, that's fine too. I just hope you'll consider what I'm saying.

Gosh thus is quite an amazing story... I loved how you incorporated all those excerpts from the original books as well by the way. There's something about the parallels that is satisfying to read. I loved reading it and now I can't fall asleep even at half past four in the morning...

I just wanted to say that I think your characterization of Ron was inaccurate. He is not just a bumbling idiot. In the 1st book he solved the chest game and took one for the team. In the 2nd book he goes down to the chamber with harry and to the cave even though his afraid of the spiders. In book 3 he goes with hermione and harry to the shrieking shack to find sirus black. In the 4th book he abandons harry but then he comes back. In the 5th book he goes to the department of mystries with harry and fights by his side. And in the sixth book they fight the death eaters at hogwarts. If this isn't enough for his "friends" to respect him. Then maybe they are the ones with the problem. I don't want you to think that this is just one long flame. I am actually enjoying this story and just can't agree with where your taking Ron.
