Mary Sue Sands! *g* And an airstrike on all women named Mary Sue! Very funny from beginning to end.

Well, I've never seen the film or read the book, but I found this story very funny anyway! "I am your wife, Mary Sue Sands" lol Priceless! and then calling all women named Mary Sue? Poor Sands, he's sure going to have a long stretch at that lol

And then I understand that the timeline follows that of the film, right? At least I've got the last allusion! Turning this kind of film into a funny, no-quite-so-nice, children story was really a good idea. Thnak you, Miss Beckey :-)

rotflmao...First the alarm didn’t go off, so he overslept. Then the coffeepot decided to go balls-up. That ** him off, so he shot it.

Now there's a mood-setting opening line if I ever read one. This was hilarious. You have absolutely nailed that character. Wonderful.

This was a hoot! Yeah, tomorrow would be better. Well, we all know how that went!

This is SO good! I absolutely LOVE this. Poor baby! Don't we all have exactly such days (sans -usually, depending the job description- the 'secret spy stuff). *hiccups and snickers* Of course, the old Murphy's law comes to play here with Sands - "If something can go wrong, it does and then it becomes a cycle." But this was very-very good!

Oh man that was awesome, Miss B!! :D :D :D :D You were crusing along fine with the funnies. And then more funny, and then oo movie ties, and then the last, "Sands sighed. Tomorrow would be a better day. He just knew it." Perfection. I nearly spit out my drink at that one. It is so, so very Sands. Come to that, I liked that he was shooting/almost shooting things all the way through this piece. Maybe that makes me sadistic or something. I dunno. In any case, it amused me. As did Sands's Mary-Sue wife. Bwahaha.

Overall, you brightened my day, which had heretofore been rather terrible, horrible, no good and very bad. So thank you. Keep writing!
