Brilliant! It's interesting, because before this I never really looked at the zombies other than lifeless corpses, not really thinking about the whole hunger issue and desperation to eat "meat". Almost give them some type of hideously, twisted human characteristics. The want, the need. Yeah.. I'm overanalyzing again.

I really liked it! The description was wonderful and disgusting! :-D And the whole Stephen King thing at the end reminded me of a quote he gave:

"I recognize terror as the finest emotion and so I will try to terrorize the reader. But if I find that I cannot terrify, I will try to horrify, and if I find that I cannot horrify, I'll go for the gross-out. I'm not proud."

Anyways, REALLY good! Totally loved it!

That was a really good oneshot, I often wondered how a zombie would think - even though they don't really think at all, more like how they function I guess! - and that felt spot on to me. I liked how he wanted the meat and it would flicker across his mind that it was Karen, but it wasn't an important piece of information. Good stuff :)

who is christopher? you mentioned teh name,like,three times in the story...
