It's the part about Spike understanding utterly that Angelus during season two was stark-raving crackers (and not in a good way) that made me like this. Well done. :)

Oh that was great! I love the parallel between Angel beating Riley physically and Spike beating him just as soundly with words. Its SO Spike. And the reminiscing of back when they were a gang was so perfect. Great work!

Wow. I was completely caught up in the world Spike described, the "family" that terrorized Europe. And his demand that Riley say how he hated Buffy... I really think that hate and love can be intertwined, when they are such strong emotions.

Riley's last line, "You know what a lucky guy I am." is just so powerful. Just... wow. You might get me reading Buffy fanfic, with this as a sample.

I liked this, while I never really liked Riley, I did like the way he interacted with Spike, and you captured that pretty well here. (Also, I thought it was cool that you had Riley's little sister be name Briana . . . spelled the same way too!) Oh, and I like how you keep the continuity of Angel's family in all of your stories. When you create a world, might as well stick to it! :)

VERY nice. I am very impressed. That was nicely written, and I really like the way Spike talked about Angel, and Darla and the gang. Everyone knows what he thought about Dru, but he's always a little fuzzy on the rest. I like to hear him talk about them.

This is a very intriguing and brilliant character study. I love the love's bitch camaraderie between Riley and Spike. The point about loving her and hating her was very well thought out. A very good job.

Excellent exploration of both characters and of the nature of love. I enjoyed this story a lot.
