This is a fantastic piece. You captured thier personalities perfectly and even wrote everything in that unvarnished, western style that is so hard to get right. I loved how you described Kaylee and Jayne's attraction, Jayne's reaction to Book and Wash's deaths, and, well, pretty much everything. It was all just fabulous. Thanks for a great read.

Wow. That was absolutely incredible. I would have never thought to put Jayne and Kaylee together, but once I saw it, I realized he was exactly her type. I so completely loved this. Keep up the great work!

I read your story and I enjoyed it very much. You kept the characters true to the way Joss portrayed them and THAT's important in continuing the Firefly universe.

Good stuff. I like the slow burn, then the cut to after Miranda, and Kaylee starting to 'see' Jayne. And Mal is so wonderfully in character! I don't doubt that Joss, given the opportunity, would never have had Simon/Kaylee run smooth, even if they did end up together in the end, but maybe he intended something more like this.

Oh my goodness! I laughed out loud all throughout this! Very well done. May have been better as a more direct, strictly JayLee one-shot, maybe. The reason I say that is because I only read the bottom portions of each chapter, they were the best, in my opinion. But it's late and i very well may have missed some good meat that added to the funniness, so just something to think about. All in all I loved it.

You should continue this again. It's so GOOD. There aren't too many Jaylee stories out, so you need to update this one.
