I also thought that it was cool the way that you didn't tell who it was who killed him, because you didn't have to. A really well-written piece.

Your use of imagery is absolutely amazing, and I don't say that often. I tend to be picky about the writing style of an author as it applies to each character, and I think you are best at writing the more serious characters (i.e. Remus, Regulus, etc.). I am curious as to who it was in the hood (who killed Regulus) (review reply and tell me?) but I may just be slow today haha. This is a wonderful piece of work, and again, if you'd read some of my work I'd very much appreciate it. Keep up the great work!

Oh my Lord! This is absolutely wondrous! I haven't read a HP fanfic for a long time, but your writing moved me... I love the way you weave memories into the present, thoughts into reality, et cetera. You can almost call it the seven days of hope, but it is a countdown to us (sadly) as we all know what happened last... and numbers are just great ways to express oneself, and the stars are awesome metaphors... *sigh* Brilliant! Please write more!

Beautiful, tragic, elegant. The way you write compliments the Black family--in some inexplicable way, it /fits/ exactly. Regulus' reminiscences, especially concerning his and Sirius' star-watching, frame the story splendidly. I am using too many adverbs. In any case, this is a gorgeous, fantastically tragic piece, and it's got a sort of quietness and thoughtfulness that makes it eerie.
