This is the almost certainly the best Redwall story I've ever read. I especially like how you develop the different characters and subplots without underdeveloping any of them.

Without a doubt, this is better than the other "An X, a Y, and a Z find themselves thrown together..." Redwall stories I've read. Each character brings something new and rich that stands on the best traditions of Redwall while developing away from the oversimplistic goodbeasts vs. vermin theme; while at the same time not creating a vermin 'Drizzt D'ourden' phenomenon.

This is a grest story, clearly the reflection of a lot of time, thought, and effort. Keep writing!

Gah! I got to the end, and was all hyped up to get to the next chapter, when WHAM! That lack of a chapter-arrow hit me!

I love this story, I really do. It's fresh, and I love Kyo/Kole (bah, the first name is the better of the two; Kole sounds so...Western XD). In some ways, he actually reminds me of Dalang, from your Kung Fu Panda fan-fiction (he, too, being my favourite character of the fiction by far).

I like that little touch you added with the Michael/Frey story. I would assume that their party will go to Salamandastron as the battle itself is waged, though...will it be Tristyn or Michael who finally wields it? Or shall it be Kyo?

An awesome twist would be Ren, but that might be taking it a bit too far D Anyways, keep writing, and I cannae wait to see the next bit of this fiction!

Hahaha! I love this story; it's absolutely brilliant! Each character is different, well-defined, and spunky. Tristyn is a very admirable and amusing heroine. As for Kyo... Kyo's (or Kole now, I guess) ramblings about gods and the "mouse war god"? Hilarious! I look forward to the next chapter. _-

And here I was thinking for the longest time that this story had been forgotten. I love it when I'm proven wrong like that. One quick note though, the hilt of Martin's sword is not wrapped in twine, it's wrapped in black leather. Page 273 of "Mossflower." Other than that, wel done as usual. It looks like things are going to get interesting rather quickly, that is if we don't have to wait so long for another update.

But you did, and the story is getting better. Though in the books, Martin never actuaaly talks except in riddles. No actual conversations go on. I also think he seemed a bit OOC but maybe that was because of the reason mentioned before. And thanks for the story about Frey's background. AND I loved 'the moment'. LOL! :D This is a great story. LOVE IT!
