i really enjoy various elements of this story, including the humor and romance. you write very well too :D
the defector i know was suigetsu, but what did he get for sasuke? hm...i hope for future romance between sasuke and sakura, as they are my favorite couple.

Sasuke attacked Ino?! Oh Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke. I liked how Ino talked to Neji about Tenten and how he as nice to her as she worried about one of her friends' dying early and I liked how Shikamaru was available for Ino to talk to, that was sweet. Danzo is so annoying, I hate that he's being proved right about Sasuke. Thanks for updating!

You've done something I thought to be nigh impossible - romance with PLOT.
(Because God forbid anything other than romance-related drama happen in reality.)
I'm just as interested in what happens next suspense/action-wise as I am romance-wise.
You've even managed to basically rule out some opposing ships (GaaHina, KankyTen) and yet still keep the tension just right :)
AND it's canon-compatible (mostly)!
Truly a feat that I look forward to reading more of.

Why am I not surprised that Danzou screwed up (or maybe let it happen on purpose)? That said, Ino really should have tried to get some back-up, like looking for one of the guy's or anyone period.

Nicely done. I thought it'd be an introspective character piece - nothing wrong with that, mind - but it seems to be picking up towards the end there. Not much to comment, I mostly read really long fics so the shortness of this one felt a bit of a let down, heh.

Hope you continue writing, there's a bunch of us waiting for updates :)
