Okay, I *never* tear up at fan fiction. Ever. And I'm really tired, so maybe I can chalk it up to that. But this was just lovely. So well written and well balanced and I just loved every word.

I don't know if I ever mentioned how beautiful this story is... because it is. Heartwrenching & heartwarmingly beautiful.

wow. This is probably one of the most beautiful fics I've ever read. Of course, I love everything you write and how you write them, but this just blew me away. It wasn't short, but it wasn't so long that I wanted to pull out my hair and yell: get on with it already...no, actually, I wished that I could read this forever--to be stuck in that world where Bobby and Alex love each other and it doesn't matter about anything or anyone else--that they can just be together and set the alarm clock a half hour later. That their problems were trumped only by the amazing sex that made the cops show up...that no matter how screwed up they may be in their own right, nothing can ever stop how much they love and care and feel for one another. Yes, I do think that I wish I could live in this fic...because it's so very real even with its inherent love story...that nothing will go as right as it should, that people will let you down, that love will fail even its best subjects, and that crime remains even if you insist on rose-colored glasses. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it...but I love that it's all so real, with the enduring message of love conquering everything familiar or everything standing in its way--and that even if it conquers everything, it isn't necessarily easy. I love that...and, thus, I love this fic. Its truly amazing. Very beautiful.

And I was honestly (though, after reading your fics for some time now, I shouldn't be surprised) surprised at how *VERY* well you write Deakins. I mean, he's not in the fic overwhelmingly, but I got into the middle of the case and I read one of his lines and gasped and thought: "My goodness, it's like he's really here." And it was crazy because I *heard* him in my head. It was quite creepy actually, as I do not believe that I've ever had Deakins in my head. lol.

My rambling will end soon, but I felt the need to let you know just how much I am in love with this fic. It's just...more than words. Beautiful. Poignant. Classic. Magnificent. Perfect. And did I say beautiful? I *love* it, WONDERFUL job! Bravo! *applause*
