This is just lovely, in a dark and awful way. Your writing is brilliant, as always, with the characters so very much themselves that I could hear Russell and Gene speaking the lines. Much applause!

I don't think I've ever read a woman who can write men so well as you. You infuse, not only their dialogue with the right tenor and texture, but create a masculine environment with your narrative too. You got gifts!

And I love this movie. Cheesy and yet earnest at the same time, I love it. I think here you captured one of the purer moments and turned it into something with great depth. Love it.
