first of all...wow. i am deffinetly going to check out if you have written away. i am blown away with just this one chapter. it has to be one of the most amazing piece of writing i have read for such a long time now. your writing is pretty much flawless and i love it. i also love the strenght of friendship you have managed to portray in just this one chapter between ron hermione and harry. i absolutely detest (with all my heart) stories where their friendship is broken often with very little reasoning attached. so kudos to you! i really really can't wait for the next chapter...so please please update soon! (yes that cliffie was pretty much evil)

wow, that was amazing--a really intriguing first chapter. It really draws you in and yes it was quite cruel to leave us at that point. Please, please update as soon as possible. I like the "old magic" part, really interesting! Please please please update!

I can see your improvement already from your last story. The research, the already hinted-at subplots, the detail in the writing... it's all fresh, compelling, and a job well done.

This will be, what, your 60th review already? But I'm making a point of not urging you to update soon. Take your time, dwell in it, sleep on it, sift it in hot water and drink it as tea, but don't rush.

As much as I loved this chapter, I'm restraining myself from showering you with "OMFG THIS IS INCREDIBLE" reviews, because that will get you nowhere. Yes, you're on everyone's alerts and favorites lists, and some readers are probably willing to bow at your feet to get you to update- but I, in my effort to be honest and (hopefully) helpful, will try to submit some actual critiques as a healthy contrast to your daily bombardment. Not expecting anything to be read or taken into consideration, obviously- I think it's just a congenital quality of mine to purposefully stray from the pack. Especially the wide-eyed, gaping-in-awe pack.

Anyway, you also won't see any review from me questioning your characters or pointing out stupid aspects of the books you've mistakenly skewed. I probably already said this, too, but I love for authors to take as much liberty as they possibly can. I'd always prefer to read your own creative stories than one leaning on the HP world. For instance- you didn't need HP to tell the story of "Linked."

Um, this not being one of the aforementioned critiques. I'm... going to bed.
