Okay kill that, how about plain old Vigilante. I mean Artemis vs. L? Now that would be entertaining.

Down to the language. I found it very sophisticated and interesting, however even Artemis has more tact than that. He seemed too straight-forward in his quips, in my opinion.

Also, there is one typo: '“Yes, I know that. I meant what is you name, woman.” Artemis snapped.' Should be "what is your name".

That was a really good story. My favorite part:

“I’m sorry, Artemis, but I am out of ideas; you have exhausted me completely. What do you want to do? There must be something, surely.”

Artemis looked at her, sadly. He had made the bitter realisation about an hour ago.

“I’m going to be a Criminal.” He said dryly.

Elyse laughed. Artemis didn’t.

Oh, poor Elyse...I woudn't like to be in her place..
Artemis was IC, and Elyse was a nice creation :)
