The way you wrote that Store owners lines...I had the impression it was Cerayno Jones, himself...even if you didn't intent it...It's HIM! I wonder if the Doctor knows that the Klingon race hunted down ALL the tribbles in the known galaxy and wipped them from existance in the 23rd Century(Earth Federation time). But Thanks to the DS9er's...They're BACK!

Wow. This was fun. I think it still runs as a short-short story, though if combined with another plot-like, I don't know, Daleks taking over the street market and ruining the economy-it has the potential to become a novel.
