Your imagery and scenes are inspiring. I'm not just talking about this story either but all the other ones I've read by you. The words are mastifully used to create the atmosphere, and the indecision and tragedy are put across.

After having written you a shocking number of senseless reviews, calling Toya "Chimera"(for reasons unknown to myself) and failing to notice the obvious in the white magnum story (how could I fail to realise the magnum was white??), I'll attempt to make some sense now.
This one shot is up to your usual high standard. It describes beautifully the doomed relationship Kheo and Ryar have and I think it gives background to their history and explains how their lives both ended up in tatters.
It's been a treat to read all the new one shots you've put up, but to be honest I am really looking forward to the time when you update Ripples. I look forward to Blue and Toya finally getting into the story.
P.S. Due to my nosiness, I had a look at some of your stories on your website. I really love Raith in your story "Strange Lullaby"! He's such a tortured soul. He reminds me a bit of Aspen. Are you going to continue with that story ever? I was really enjoying it!

Poignantly, achingly beautiful. Reminds me a little of the short you wrote for Chatoya and Blue, and their relationship does have parallels. Toya too used to being hurt and Ryar afraid of it, both certain that their partners are either not in love with them or changing too much.

And Kheo and Blue...I wonder if they'd get along? Blue did say he was planning to suggest a union. **shudder** the thought is pretty scary.

I love your metaphors, your way of describing things, comparing objects and contrasting them.
