This is awesome. Too bad good ol' Bum had to get copped off first, but oh well. I have to admit that I nearly fell off my chair laughing during Specs' declaration of nobody else having Mary. Since it's over a year now, I hope the next chapter comes out soon. xP

i was just WAITING for specs and dutchy to stop fighting and start making out.. but you ladies surprised me (again). great stuff, i like how the blink/race is actually very sweet, even amidst a parody fic with.. a vampire. so updates, yeah? yeah. great.

I refuse to believe that I did not read/review this story before, but I checked the reviews and, lo and behold, my name is not among them... so I suppose I stand corrected.
HAHA of COURSE with you guys slash would provide immunity. that's so funny.. i'm really enjoying this, although the year-between-updates is a little ridiculous.
not that i can.. oh, well, whatever.

All right, an update! :D

This is still one of my favorite Sue-parodies, mostly because ti has slash, but partially because it's well-written and has most of the Famous Cliches.

""I mean, what are the odds that every guy in the lodgin' house is **?""

OMG this has to be the funniest thing I have ever read! "what are the odds that everyone in the lodging house is **" that made me laugh so much as did '“Hey, Koppman,” he called. “Since when are you a doctor?”' classic and so accurate, as was the amazaing suddenly appearing room for privacy. The only thing this is missing is the horribly annoying and impossible to read New York accent. Well done on the best parody ever

This is bloody hilarious. They better go see Spot soon, or there won't be anybody left to save. I hope we don't have to wait another year for the next update.

Ok, I'm still laughing about "Nobody will!" *so very, very amused* And, seriously, this is just so much fun overall. Love the line about "what are the odds that everyone in the lodging house is **?" especially. You guys are fantastically awesome, and Mary Sue is fantastically creepy.

ROTFL! Literally. This is the best parody I've ever read. It's an awesome story, and it's horribly accurate... some many references in there were so familiar (the ever-changing tragic past, the annoying reminders of how beautiful she is, the convenience in both Race and Blink being gay, etc.) Keep it up!

NO! *weeps for the ducs!*

if I didn't love you both so much, I'd be very upset. But the BlinkTrack was pretty fun and hooray for Race standing up to her! Snarky!Race is lovely.

See, this just proves that slash is the ultimate power and is needed to take down the evil that is Mary Sue. Do you think Blinktrack sex would just make her spontaneously combust? I hope so.

All I have to say is...ROTFL.

Oh, and, damn those Mary-Sues. *lauches rescue mission to save the remaining Newsies from certain doom*

God, I can't believe I didn't read this until now.

Newsies parody of both Mary Sues and slash? GENIUS!

Her name is perfection. The little details like the spare room, the sapphire orbs and the ringlets of hair are dead-on. And I totally like where the Blinktrack is leading...

Best line? "He frowned a little and looked up above at where Blink was climbing. All he could really see were the bottom of Blink's boots and Blink's rear end. So there was no reason for his gaze to linger there, but it did."

Ho yeah. I cannot wait for this to be updated.
