2009-02-09 . chapter 1
This was, above all, a wonderful review, and I must say I have looked for some kind of EXPLANATION by "Tom" after he kileld Peter Smith Kingsley . He did NOT have to kill Peter...Peter probably would have been aghast, but the truth wouldn't have meant the end of their affair. I am heartsick bu t gratefu l for th is wonderful "ending." LOVED it. The Talented Mr. Ripley is a movie I've been obsessed by ever since I first saw it...have the DVD -- the director's insightful comments, and that of the cast. Wonderful movie -- even BETTER DVD. Thanks to this wonderful person's review of the end. Sonni Olsen.

This lives up to the amazingness that was the movie. One of the things that I appreciate, apart from the complete ICness of Tom, is that you did not conclude anything and kept the air of mystique around Tom despite it being in his POV.
Toms breakdown is beautifully organized and written as well.
Love it to bits!

*cries hysterically*

Oh poor darling beautiful Peter. *sniff* Why?

Lovely lovely lovely piece of writing! Totally captures the kind of blank horror I'm sure Tom must have felt (not that I would know of course, i have never murdered a hot conductor on a boat...hmm...)

lovely

I like it. It's short, sweet, appropriate, possible. If you have read the book, you know that it supports the idea that Peter loving him back is something so new in Tom's life. And I was pleased to see your spelling and grammar are very good -- something we don't always see on
