Good story and good close to an ep that did end rather abruptly. I would like to point out a possible mis-use of the Czech language. Rodney being like ice would not make him ice cream. ;-) Zmrzlina is "ice cream". I lived in the Czech Republic for a year and had fun learning to run all those consonants together. Thought it so fun that I named one of my cats Zmrzlina so I could watch vets try to say it. :-) "Led" is ice. Ledovy might be a better word. But then, I'm not fluent in the language. I'm just glad to see Zelenka fans actually trying to use it!

I'm not an extreme Rodney fan, but I have to say that I really liked this story.

Excellent! Very well done, and you've definitely got the characters down. I like that you touched on McKay's survivor's guilt ("How many people had now died so that he could live? Was he really worth it? Was anyone?"), 'cause he's had a lot of people die either for him or because of him; that'd be pretty difficult for anyone to deal with.

This is, as always, great! I'm working on a GUP tag myself, but you have the dialogue down so much better! Of course, mine has Rodney only semi-conscious so far...not very snarky when you're throwing up!

This is what I was looking for when I came searching for a conclustion to GUP! Thank you! The other fics I read didn't deal at all with the decompression issue, which you handled quite well! Thank you for writing this so I didn't have to, just to appease my brain.

Thank you. Sorry I'm late, I like to be just perfectly ready to read your great fics. And this was great. You got McKay down brilliantly, all anxious and vague. Shep was funny! It really felt like we were with them there, playing cards and stuff. Neat. The whole memorial service was amazing, quite disturbing. Poor Rodney, just not quite himself, was he? Very good, very good.

That's one heck of a tag! I just wish the show could allow time for the emotional and mental repercussions of what happens. The comparison between Griffin's sacrifice and that of the two who died in Conversion for Sheppard is so perfect and poignant, and Caldwell's look is chilling yet understandable. Just wow. Thank you!
