Yummy. A classically detached, assured narration while maintaining an at least somewhat human tone to it. The demon comment was interesting and long-deserved. Now that you've brought up "The Girl" near the end, Akio's (potential) change makes for some nice ruminations.

Wow! I really loved the character dynamic between Touga and Akio. I think way too many ignore it and just jump to hot sex or something. That was really great! At times I thought Akio was a little more brusque than usual, such as, “This food is decent, unlike whatever you ate before.” He'd probably make it into a pointed joke though. Otherwise though, its absolutely amazing. I'm glad I finally got to read something exploring their screwed-up power dynamics. You made my day.
