blufair 2006-02-01 ch 1,	abuseWow, this is very good. Your characterization of Liir is excellent. The paragraph about how his name seems like a mistake particularly stands out to me as classic Liir. This fic almost feels like it could have been a scene from the book. It's short, but it has a fair amount of depth. I love the parallel between Liir's name possibly coming from Elphaba's unconscious babbling and Fae's name coming from her own gibberish. Son of a Witch fic is far too rare, so I'm really glad you've written some and done such a great job with it.
