Although I'm disappointed that you didn't continue this, I get where you're coming from. I've discontinued a few fanfics too. If I ever attempt to write another multi-chaptered fanfic, I won't post the first chapter until the last chapter is finished.

Anywho. I like the idea of the scientists cloning Det in Area 51. I don't like the Bitters mind-wipe ending, though. Not just because I'm a sucker for happy endings, but also because the whole point of a story is for the main character to grow and change. So if you put Ms. Bitters mentally back where she started, what's the point? Eh, but I realize it's a moot point since you're not continuing the fanfic anyway.

Wow, you had it all planned out and it seemed very elaborant. I keep getting more and more excited as I read what was to happen next in the story! Thank you so much for writing this eplioge thing, or whatever it is. I'm glad I get to know how it ends. The ending was horrible but I enjoyed every bit of reading your outlines and notes. And of course I love Det more than ever now!

I've never been so heartbroken to see a story discontinued. I truly didn't know that it hadn't been updated in years when I started reading and now I feel like crying. This story has touched me deeply and I really love it. This needs to go on. It needs to continue.
