It dealt with how complex and frustrating something like what happened to Nick can be, and I liked your little parts, like Nick and Greg sneaking off together after he makes CSI, so cute! And when Nick was breaking down hugging that picture, it just really made me start to hurt for both of them. But what really got me was the emotional stuff near the end, this line in particular made me tear up a little "They didn’t take it from you. After all of that, you did. Greg you took it from me, everything I fought to live for you took from me." It was very powerful and really hit me hard. I liked when you actually used the 'different kind of pain' line too, because usually lines like that are just in titles and I think oh, that's clever, but it actually really hit me hard when Nick said that, because it made a good point, physical and emotional pain are very different, and emotional can definitely be harder and you got that across very well. As I said, I enjoyed it immensely, nicely done, especially for a fic based on a video. Goody
