You know, after reading your story, Dracula's personality in the movie seems justified. Well done.

Your 'discussion' concerning medieval religion is quite interesting. I had totally forgotten that Van Helsing, at this time, would be a conservative catholic. Dracula's ideas are very modern and you're right, it would probably give a priest a stroke or cause the vatican to try and burn him at the stake, although it would be very interesting to see what they would do when they find out that he can regenerate. Nice writing. I think I'll enjoy the rest of it.

dracula was killed because he made a deal with the devil while he was alive i know these things all i do for a living...other than school...is study the history of vampires and their history however that does include watching Van helsing, dracula underworld, and others including the coresponding books. anyway he made a pact with the devil while he was living to make him immortal and van helsing killed him because of this pact and the devil ressurected (?spelling?) him and the valarious agreed to kill him in return for admittance into heaven though he couldnt and the movie picks up from there.

Not sure if this has a point. But the real character Vlad the Impaler has nothing to do with Stoker's novel.The Dracula thing comes from the nickname the peasents gave to his father "draculea" becouse he was a knight of the Dragon Order in old romanian dragon was called "dracu".

Try reading Bram Stoker's book- I believe it says why.
