Wow! What a different and fresh idea this was! I loved it, although I will admit I was a bit wary about reading it. Simply because it WAS different and not your usual way of Robert/Catherine getting together. But boy am I glad I did read it! [But of course it's OSN and Robert/Catherine so how could I not?] :)

I must say that was amazing, well written, and lovely to read. The characters were all completely in character, the scenes between Catherine and Robert completely perfect. I loved it, and I sincerely hope you write more.

Remarkable, simply remarkable. The author is adept at exposing the inner psyche of the characters and places them in the most appropriate settings. The characters and the progression of the story line remain true to the original inspiration for this fan fic. Nicely done.

Once I started reading it, I must say I was incapable to stop. The flow of life interrupted me a few times but I just HAD to come back to it each time! Wonderful writing and descriptions of feelings! A real treat! And I agree with you Janet (and many others it seems), the development in the movie was rather fast... I loved how slow and thoughtful you made their feelings and actions progress. I'm really looking forward to the next update now.

Another perfect chapter! I simply adored it! Such a sweet ending, and so intimate. This is exactly the way I see their relationship unfolding. Waiting, impatiently I might add, for the next update. :-)

I absolutely love "One Special Night"...Julie with my favorite of her co-stars, James Garner. But I had always thought the storyline moved their relationship a little too quickly. I know they only had 2 hrs. to tell the story, but I felt that a character like Catherine would take things slower, even if her heart told her not to. Your fanfic is wonderful...you really can imagine these situations, feelings, hesitations, that Catherine and Robert share. And I commend you for the slight change in Lori and Michael's relationship. I didn't think she would go back to him without some deep soul searching. BRAVO!! I'm looking forward to the next installment.
