Beth-TauriChick 2006-02-03 . chapter 1Nice! Loved the last paragraph. Hope to read more from you! |
 Silverthreads 2006-01-31 . chapter 1Interesting and thoughtful. |
Fanwoman 2006-01-31 . chapter 1Subtle. Me, I'd think some part of Rodney would be conflicted where Elizabeth is concerned--after all, she was going to do to Kav what Kolya did to him--but using it all for self-reflection works, too. I like that he's aware and doesn't necessarily want to be an island. Good luck, Rodney! |
fififolle 2006-01-31 . chapter 1Hey, that was great. He went to see Kavanagh? Neat. And he goes for coffee with Elizabeth. Nice, she's actually OK, isn't she. See, that just how it really would be, poor old Rodney, he'll be OK, I hope. Thanks for giving him some optimism! |
Hananian 2006-01-31 . chapter 1I liked this. I had to read it several times to decide if I liked it or not. lol.
I think you could do a whole fic on Rodney and Kavanaugh talking/bonding. I liked the part with Rodney/Liz at the end, and wish you'd gone on longer. Maybe covered the coffee trip and their conversation.
But, all that being said...I really liked this. That you touched on what everyone glossed over. Thanks! |
drufan 2006-01-31 . chapter 1Good use of Kavanagh. A mirror image of how Rodney was and could be without his team dynamic. You see ol' Rod in the previous SG1 eps and he has as much warmth as ol' Kav. Glad they let him grow up. Nice tag. |
odt 2006-01-31 . chapter 1I really like you story but you should have been writing more about Kavanagh and McKay's discussion... I've been listening to this song of Simon and Garfunkel, and I had thought aout writing something... But here you are. Nice work! I, as well, do believe that this song is perfect for Rodney...
