I have just finished reading Saints and Saviors and Beneath the Surface. They are both great, thank you so much for writing them.

So I was bad and read this before the other story that was supposed to come before it. I'm going to make a point to go back and read it now!

Great story, it kept me away from studying for finals. I know who to blame if I don't get my studying done! haha.

Anyways, just wanted to let you know that this is definitely one of the better H/C stories I've read on here.

"He watched her make her way to the middle of the grassy expanse, tilt back her head and scream."

That line just totally did it for me. This was an amazing journey between two people that couldnt be suited better for each other. I love the way that you kept everyone in character, and didnt make everything all kittens and lolipops. You made this an amazing read, and I hope, hope, hope that you will write a third story.
Absoloutly brilliant.

I absolutely love the way you portray House. Not many authors still keep him "House" during a relationship with Cameron. I measure most H/C fics next to this one an Saints and Saviors, definitely the classic H/C fic(s) of all time.

Ok, I got thru reading Saints & Saviors and started on this one. I usually don't review in the middle of a story 'cause I'm afraid I'll make a suggestion/comments only to find out later that somebody else did/said the same thing and the author incorporated it into a later chapter. However, *this* one I just couldn't pass up.
You've mentioned in some of your A/N about trying to keep the right balance of keeping the characters "in character" while writing something so completely OOC. Well, I've got to say, you had a passage in this chapter that was so dead on I was laughing out loud while reading it. I literally could hear Hugh Laurie's inflections in my head while I was reading it. I'm referring to this part: “...Aren’t you boys happy that mommy and daddy aren’t fighting anymore? Oh, wait. Cameron’s more like your sister, so that makes it…eww…” he made a disgusted face. “No, that doesn’t work. We’ll stick with mommy and daddy. Aren’t you glad we aren’t fighting anymore?..."
That's just so perfectly House that it couldn't get any better. Kudos to you for writing 2 stories that have had me so intrigued that every time I've used my computer the last 2 days I've been reading your work. I can't wait to get back to the story & read more. Awesome work!

Wow... just wow. I realize this story was written a couple of years ago, but I was just introduced to the wonderful world of House. I am thrilled with this story and believe I will be stalking (in the very non-threatening, creepy way - in the seeking out all other stories you have written with House/Cameron pairings and praising your name kinda stalking). You are a wonderful writer and hope that it continues to give you as much joy as it gives your readers.

Wow. I found Saints and Saviors through a recommendation on LJ and have fallen in love with this story. It's so hard to write realistic House but in nearly every chapter you write something he says or something he did and its so much like him that I am left shaking my head wondering why the writers didn't think of that same thing. lol. I did enjoy the realistic pace this story had. So many authors are intent on getting to the good stuff that they rush things. This took time, pain, and misunderstandings and ended with love. I'm off to read all your other stories now. Yay!

I just finished reading Saints and Saviors and Beneath the Surface and I am amazed.
I have never read such beautifully written House fanfictions where House and Cameron are so in character!
You can really believe that House would be exactly like this with Cameron if they were in a relationship. Thank you so much for entertaining me for hours and hours, making me laugh and cry and chaining me to my laptop for days!
I'm sure that no other fanfiction can keep up with yours.
Thank you soo much, really!

Well I just finished reading and I'm speachless. It was so good and I was completely unhappy when I was forced to go to bed last night and wasn't allowed to read the sequel until this morning :). It was quite a task to tear myself from it :). I loved it, it was so much in character, so easy and nice to read and I simply adore it. Even more because you wrote a sequel :) - I didn't know until I was looking at your other stories and accidentally noticed it :). Am I allowed to say I love it once again? :) Anyway, great, great work, that was perfectly written.

Hey again. I read and reviewed Saint and Saviors earlier this month. I believe I'm the last one to have posted a review for this story. I never do this, but I thought you deserved another well-rounded review. I suppose you don't need to hear how great Beneath the Surface is; how many synonyms of awesome can there be... :) I thought I would list a couple of things which I think are worth mentioning, if you plan on writing more of these - and I hope you do. First, I like the format of your stories. The length of each chapter is proper and convenient. The fact that this is quite a long narrative is also appealing. I like that you start the first chapters with dialogue right away, or fairly early on. No one wants to wait and have to read five pages just to hear the characters' first spoken words; I personally like to know the tone of the characters' voices/story right away. It gives me some idea about the quality of the writing, the flavor of the characters, and the path the author is taking. The fact that the story line is rich and the story in itself lengthy is also a good point. Some stories jump directly into the ever so popular catalyst-type fight, climax, or sex scene right away and it doesn't make sense. With a story such as yours, you really get to know backdrops, moods, feelings, circumstances, etc. and it helps a lot getting into the more dramatic parts and scenes. The descriptive narratives were well written for sure. It was nice to get an idea about everyone's surroundings, though not lingering too much on environment/setting concerns is important. I enjoyed the fact that you brought Chase, Foreman, and Cuddy to the picture on several occasions; again, their appearance was subtle and not overbearing and it was great. The same goes for Wilson's scenes with House. They were necessary, conductive to the plot, but short, and it was perfect that way. The dialogues were excellent, especially the witty retorts and snide remarks exchanged between House and Cameron. Very true and in character. Most of them were flawless, really. I couldn't believe how some scenes went on and on, yet keeping the beat fresh and lively, and getting every emotion across perfectly. The trip to Wisconsin or wherever they were in the Midwest was some tricky idea, but you definitely pulled it off. Thanks to your excellent writing and good timing, pace of unfolding events, it didn't feel forced, unconvincing, or annoying. I was glad when they got back to Princeton and to their semi-convoluted routine, though... :) I personally don't like it much when too much alternate universe or inconsistent ideas are thrown into a story. There's got to be something real, some authenticity to a story, facts or knowledge from the show that we know of or that we can derive from, I think, to make it work. I may have missed a couple of other things, but I think you get the overall point. It really was a great experience reading both Saint and Saviors and Beneath the Surface. Congratulations. Looking forward to reading more from you. Thanks, maud..

You really have a way of leaving me wanting more. When I read your first fic I thought that was the end, and you have no idea how excited I was to see that there was a sequel. As you can tell by the amount of time between my reviews, I couldn't stop reading this one either! I absolutely love how you've managed to keep House in character (which few writers are capable of, IMO), while still making something happen we'll probably never see on the show. You've made him completely believable, being almost sweet with Cameron, but still snarky at the same time. I love everything about your writing! I wish it weren't over, but I really enjoyed your fics! Thanks for the effort that you put into writing... I really appreciate it! Hopefully your health has held up over the last couple years. Thanks! :)
