I love this story and it's a crying shame that RL hit you at the point it did - right in the action scene - but I can always hope that you're still out there and will be writing more of this.

Snape has a little bit of superpowerSnape (literally) in this story, though the actions he takes are intelligent and not of the knocking everything down with a single sweep of his hand variety. I like that he has the weakness of not wanting to let anyone in on his plans at all and that Dumbledore is mistaken on his own necessity to success the war - Dumbledore canonically keeps everything to his vest and
it is ridiculous that he would be able to keep steering everything from the grave. Canon, but ridiculous. If you get back to this story I'd love to see an eventual reveal between Severus and Albus - they both deserve it.

Hi. Puh-lize tell me this story isn't abanddoned... WAIL!! Sob, sob... [through in a Dudley tantrum here]..sob,hiccup sniff. Now that my tears have dried,may i just say that i loved it! the fact that it was once nominated for an award says this is quality stuff. Its so nice to see a positive Snape story, I just stumbled onto this one by accident.
Anyway have added this to my story alerts - hope srings eternal.

I just found this story and couldn't stop reading until I finished. It is wonderful. Very original and fascinating-- I love reading your authors notes re: where you've gotten certain ideas or quotes. I particularly like Snape's characterization and background: how he turned against the Dark Lord because of his mother, that there was no romance with Lily, and especially how he planned out the whole whomping willow fiascos to get into the Death Eaters (I always thought that listening to Sirius wasn’t very Snape-like). I do hope you haven't abandoned this story and that it is just on hold until RL is beaten into submission.

I completely agree with you, in all honestly i think that JKR made the wizardingworld focus way too much on men period. There was very little to show that witches could be as strong magically as men. Hermionie appeard to be an abnomally...and Mcgonnagal..was stern and basically asexual.
We know of one friend of Lilly's and that was only for the purpose of giving Snape more of a backstory. I look forward to the next chapter.

I have no idea why this story only has 400someodd reviews! Its fantastic and so so creative.
I read it once before, quite a long time ago and got bits of it ingrained in my head. I couldn't quite remember who wrote Percy Weasley as Snape's spy, but everytime a percy story came about, i would think of his lost potential as a chracter. Your idea of the parasite is just brilliant. There are so many aspects to this story that just stand out, and now rereading it...i'm amazed really. I noticed that you have not updated since 2007...i hope that the muse strikes you soon.

This story is so well-written and so interesting - it would be a terrible shame if you abandoned it. I just found it and then I nearly cried when I saw that you haven't updated for an entire year! Any chance you might come back to it?
