Very interesting and well thought-out. I love it when writers give their ideas of "how and why" something happens/ed, even in fanfics. And while it is intriging for a "Guardian of David" to have a Roman/Greek name, it's very cool if considered as a sort of symbology for what He was trying to do.

Very nice story, Denigoddess. I wish it were longer, however. And also, why a Roman name for a gargoyle that bears such anger towards them? It's puzzling, but then so is the account in the bible, isn't it?
