Sadly, this time I have nothing not even half intelligent to say, just that is heart breaking and amazing. In this one shot, you not only paint Narcissa and Andromeda's personalities wonderfully, but their relationship as well -this last one even better here than in BP! I love Andromeda's descriptive way of thinking Narcissa's feelings as puzzles, her reluctance to pick up where they left it, and the fact that is made obvious that is Narcissa who needs the relationship more -even when is the other sister who is disgraced and left the family!. Finally, very nice Tonks' cameo. saludos hele.

I started reading your work on the SugarQuill but was hopelessly impatient, so came over here to read the rest. You've done lovely characterisations and I just hope that you continue to write on Narcissa. It tears me up that Costos had to die, I wish that he could have lived on till somehow Malfoy died in the distant future and she could finally give up the old world and join the new. Ah, I'm a hopeless romantic. But thank you for the fantastic read.

I love the cryptic undercurrents to this piece; Narcissa's fencing, Andromeda trying to figure her out and deciding it wasn't worth the effort - young Tonks had a really great cameo. I wonder what kind of impact this meeting might have had on her life.

I must applaud you because this is probably one of the only fics i have read where i wish that narcissa had ended up with the other guy instead of lucius, as i love lucius to bits. So that is a great achievement if i may say so myself. Wonderful stuff and i hope you write many more narcissa fics.

I don't think your Narcissa could have married Lucius if Costos had still been alive. One sees that reading newspapers is still a dangerous activity. The pearls were a genius touch, I might add and Tonks was perfect. The interaction between Narcissa and Andromeda was facinating, too. They have such a complex relationship that you outline perfectly with just touches here and there, like the memory of Narcissa coming to Andromeda's room, and Narcissa's dolls.
